Artists

Artober will proudly showcase a diverse spectrum of art across three categories: Exhibiting Artists, Resident Artists, and Exclusive Showcases. This celebration highlights the creativity of both established and emerging artists, honoring their contributions to the festival's cultural landscape.
Exhibiting Artists

Exhibiting Artists

These 42 talented individuals are the core of Artober's gallery exhibitions, with two groups each taking a turn to showcase their works. From October 4th to 8th and again from October 10th to 14th, each artist will transform their allocated wall space into a personal gallery.

The lineup features a diverse mix of photographers, digital artists, painters, and illustrators, each bringing their unique perspective and aesthetic to the festival.

Resident Artists

Resident Artists are those who have an ongoing relationship with Artedly, having had their artworks featured in various cafes and public spaces across Tokyo.

During Artober, each of these artists will contribute a single, significant piece that highlights their continued collaboration with Artedly. This segment celebrates the enduring partnerships and shared histories that enrich the local art scene.

Exclusive Showcases

Exclusive Showcases

Unlike the more static gallery displays, the Exclusive Showcases are dynamic and event-centric, held in the event space at specific times during Artober. These showcases are designed to highlight unique projects and collaborations, such as Rundisc’s visual art from the video game 'Chants of Sennaar' and the premier Japanese exhibition of British artist Mr. Bingo.

These showcases offer an immersive experience into specialized artistic realms, providing attendees with insight into the creative processes behind significant works and series.
