Art &
Connect
7–10pm · Hibiya Okuroji, Tokyo
Art & Connect brought together artists, guests, and friends for an evening celebrating art, culture, and community in collaboration with Tokyo Weekender and the Embassy of El Salvador.
On Saturday October 24th, we once again joined forces with Tokyo Weekender Magazine and the Embassy of El Salvador for a special Artober evening. Visitors explored exhibitions by 43 independent artists across two galleries, enjoyed Salvadoran culture, and connected with the artists and guests who made the evening possible.
A Special Evening
Our Saturday evening brought together art, culture, and community, with special guests and collaborators from Japan and El Salvador.
Date: Saturday October 24th, 2026
Time: 7–10pm
Venue: Hibiya Okuroji, Tokyo
Alongside the evening's programme, visitors enjoyed exhibitions by 43 independent artists across Artober's two gallery spaces.
Thank you to our partners, artists, and everyone who joined us for such a memorable night!
Tokyo Weekender
Founded in 1970, Tokyo Weekender is Japan’s longest-running English-language lifestyle magazine. For more than 50 years, it has shared stories about the people, places, art, and culture that make life in Japan so interesting.
You can read Tokyo Weekender online or pick up the magazine at venues around Tokyo, including embassies, hotels, restaurants, bookstores, and tourist information centres.
It was a pleasure to collaborate with Tokyo Weekender again for Artober 2026. Their support helped make Saturday's celebration of art and culture a memorable evening.
The Embassy of El Salvador
We’d like to thank El Salvador’s Ambassador Diego Dalton and his team for supporting Artober and Artedly since the project began. We’re grateful to work with a country that places such importance on art and the people who create it.
Through this partnership, we’ve been able to share artwork by Tokyo-based artists in El Salvador and welcome Salvadoran artists here in Tokyo. It’s been a pleasure to get to know each other through these exchanges and share the work with new audiences.
We were delighted to welcome Ambassador Dalton and his team to Artober 2026. Thank you to everyone at the Embassy for helping bring this special evening together.
Artwork from El Salvador
Erick Chévez
We were delighted to welcome Erick Chévez, a photographer who travelled from El Salvador to join us. His photography was exhibited throughout Artober, and we were proud to share his work with visitors in Tokyo. Erick is a co-founder of The Lab Studio, a design firm that works with some of the biggest names in global tech and consults on design for pre-seed startups worldwide.

Artober 2026 also featured artwork by Male Cuellar. Although she wasn't able to join us in person, we were delighted to share her work in Tokyo once again.
Male's artwork also provided the visual theme for Artober 2026, appearing throughout the event's website and promotional materials.
